Not perfect but definitely recommended
Hotel was really lovely. Staff superb although some of the reception staff did not come across as being entirely approachable. Certainly housekeeping, lifeguards and restaurant / bar staff were absolutely faultless. Depending where your room is, there can be a LARGE amount of walking to get from one place to another. Be nice if they put a snack bar by the quiet pool as the other is a LONG way away. Main pool is absolutely fantastic, with excellent amenities, but couldn't sit there as when animation had the music on we couldn't hear each other on neighbouring beds as it was so loud. So loud the music was totally distorted coming through the speakers and we couldn't hold a conversation so we didn't return which was a real shame as it's nice to see the activities and it really was a lovely pool. Same experience with the amphitheatre at night -volume so loud everything was distorted and unbearable. Other than that we were very happy with the hotel.
Only 1 thing to note - we travelled as 5 adults but the 5th adult had a fold up bed which she didn't find very comfortable. It was a perfectly adequate bed for a child but she had paid the same as the rest of us and this wasn't really value for money. Don't think we would have minded but most of the on line details / photos for this kind of room showed a proper bed which would have been far preferable. We didn't complain as we were only there for a week and we didn't want to be spending our time and energy explaining and then changing rooms etc etc however it would be nice if they took on board the ages of their guests when allocating rooms.

Pool area is great, drinks are also great! Never actually had a flat beer the whole time I was here. The snorkelling in the sea was the highlight of the trip! So many bright/colourful fish. Staff weren't too pushy in trying to get you to do activities etc. We did have a problem with the food at first as we're both vegetarian (using the same ladle to get different pasta sauce which meant ended up with mince in our food) but after speaking to the restaurant manager and head chef about it they went well out of their way to get it sorted for us so appreciate that. Hotel could do with some general touching up but nothing much. Special shoutout to Ahmed Abozamel at the pool bar who serves food in the day, he was the best waiter in the hotel, Mohammed the head chef in the restaurant and Mohammed the restaurant manager for sorting the food out for us and going out their way every day to make sure it was okay.

Very good
I thanks for staff especialy for Walid and Younes. They make , I didn't have to worry about anything.the staff was always smiling and helpful.It was the best vacation so far. Jaz Fanara is the Best place. If you would like diving and relax , come to Jaz Fanara.

Me encantó todo en general .las actividades y la música

Un tuffo nel Mar Rosso
Prima volta in Egitto e prima volta a Sharm e, dopo lunga ricerca ho prenotato direttamente dal loro sito, con un pizzico di scettiscismo e invece:
1) Posizione invidiabile, nella baia di Ras Om El Sid, riparata dai venti impetuosi e dalle correnti marine, a due passi da Old Sharm e di fianco al celebre Farsha Cafè;
2) Resort pulito, area verde maniacalmente mantenuta, piscine belle (anche se mai usate prediligendo il mare) camera spaziosa con letti comodissimi e bagno con doccia enorme (avevo prenotato una Superior vista piscina );
3) I risoranti sono 4, la Gazella posizionato in fondo al Resort, quello a la cart Nino (unico a pagamento), quello a bordo piscina ( per spuntini veloci) ed il principale El Medina, dove ho pranzato e cenato più spesso e dove quasi mai ho trovato due volte le stesse pietanze e che valuto sicuramente positivamente;
4) Spiaggia e mare: la spiaggia non è enorme ma sicuramente sufficiente per gli ospiti, non ho mai avuto problemi a trovare un ombrellone libero. Pulita e ben curata è formata da sabbia fine che si protrae per i primi 30/40 metri dal bagnasciuga per ultimare in quella che è la chicca del posto, la Barriera Corallina "SPETTACOLARE" e, per me che la vedevo per la prima volta, da restare con la bocca aperta.
5) infine una menzione a tutto il personale, quasi esclusivamente formato da giovani ragazzi in gamba e preparati che si fanno in quattro per renderti la vacanza indimenticabile, ovviamente nella speranza di qualche mancetta che ben volentieri si elargisce.
Ho solo due piccolissime negatività, la prima la discesa in spiaggia, non lunghissima ma che nelle ore più calde, nella risalita, potrebbe essere un problema per i deboli di cuore o per chi ha problemi di deambulazione, la seconda la mancanza di una doccia direttamente in spiaggia ma posizionata dupo una rampa in salita, vicina al bar.
Ci tornerei? sicuramente si, anzi ci torno sicuramente perchè ci siamo trovati veramente bene e poi, con quel mare non c'è nemmeno bisogno di andare a fare escursioni da altre parti per vedere la Barriera Corallina.
